All Girl Scouts are encouraged to bring mittens, hats, scarves
or socks to decorate the Giving Tree.
Donations
will be distributed to local families in need.
Each troop will sponsor
a different craft or activity for their chosen holiday and bring a snack to share.

Event Description:
- Girls
rotate from table to table making Holiday Ornaments sponsored by different troops.
- Girls
rotate in cycles (determined by troop leaders) so that half of the girls and an adult rotate and another adult and other half
of troop remain at the ornament table.
- Snacks
and drinks will be provided during a midway break; girls switch and begin second rotation. Girls may not have time to make
all of the ornaments.
Ornament
Table Sponsoring Requirements: (May use as a service project, community service
hours, or count towards working with younger girls):
- Troops
must sponsor an ornament table to participate.
- Larger
troops may have more than one table (if space available).
- Cadettes
and Seniors have the option to sponsor a table and not rotate through tables.
- Troops
must bring a snack to share, drinks will be provided.
Ornament Guidelines and Requirements:
- Arrive
promptly at 12:45
pm to set up table.
- No
glitter. Glitter glue is okay.
- If
paint is involved, please provide each girl with a small paper plate to place ornament on while it is drying.
- Be
able to complete within 5-10 minutes (Please do not make too difficult).
- Provide
supplies for about 100 (?) ornaments. A better estimate will follow.
- Have
4 or more ornament making stations per table.
