POOL PARTY

The Elgin-McDade Girl Scouts would like to invite all Non-Registered girls, ages 5 to 17, to join us for a pool party at Morris Park on August 29th, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A variety of activities will include a hula hoop contest, water relay and a limbo contest. Cake and punch will be provided.

Admission is free and a parent must accompany child. A registration table will be setup. The registration fee for the 2009-2010 year is $12. Scholarships are available.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. Most girls join a local troop or group for fun and friendship, but they also find out about building character and self-esteem and serving their communities—the core qualities of Girl Scouting. In Girl Scouts, girls find a safe place to grow and share new experiences, learn to relate to others, develop values, and contribute to society.
